BUTTERED NUTS

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Serves 4-6

Ingredients

2 cups nuts. Almonds are delicious this way, also try mixed nuts
4 T butter
Salt and Pepper
Optional: 2 t spice, either curry powder or chili powder, OR 1 t cayenne

Preparation

  1. Melt butter in large pan over medium-low heat.
  2. Toss nuts in butter to coat, add optional spice.
  3. Saute for 10 minutes.
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Cool before serving. Nuts will crisp as they cool.
